Worship at St. John the Evangelist, Bath
10am Sunday Morning
We hope you will join us!
Most services are conducted out of the Anglican Church of Canada Book of Alternative Services, and our music is a mixture of modern and older hymns. Our singing is accompanied with organ most Sundays, although we also sing with guitar accompaniment sometimes. Dress is whatever you are comfortable to attend church in, most come dressed casually.
Our church is wheel chair accessable, and we would be very glad to see you whatever your mobility needs are.
There is a children's program each week. Our children usually sing our first hymn, and then go out to take part in Sunday School activities. They often return for communion just before the end of the service. All our teachers have been police screened, and if children do not wish to attend the children's program, we are glad to have them remain with us in church. The sound of babies with us is a cherished sound at St. John's, and if a baby attends more than twice he or she may find honourary grandparents lining up to chearish them. Often if a child is new, a parent attends the children's program with the child for the first week or so, and parents are always welcome to assist with the children, or just observe at any time.
