Prayer Quilt Ministry: Prayers & Squares is an interfaith outreach ministry that combines the gift of a hand-tied quilt with the gift of prayer for someone in need, no matter what the reason or age of the recipient. The essence of this ministry is in the prayers offered for the recipient. Remember our motto; "it's not about the quilt, it's all about the prayers".
Before tying a prayer quilt for an individual, that person must have agreed to accept the gift of prayer in the form of a quilt. You should also ask how you might best direct your prayers for that person. No payment can ever be accepted for a prayer quilt. It cannot be sold; it is a gift. See www.prayerquilt.org for more information. If you know someone in need, who might benefit from this ministry, we encourage you to email your request for a Prayer Quilt to Svea.
Choir Practice: First and third Sundays following worship. New members are very welcome to join. Just talk with Mellisa our organist.
"Use what talent you possess - the woods would be very silent if no birds sang except those that sang best." (Henry Van Dyke)
Sunday School: We have a small but growing Sunday School that meets each week at 10am during church. We start by singing the first song with the whole congregation and then have fun learning about Jesus, and do all sorts of crafts, music and games in the process. We return to the church for communion most Sundays, and then enjoy snacks with the entire community after the service.
Readers and Greeters: Click here to find out when you are scheduled to read! If you would like to be trained as a reader or greeter for our church services, please talk to Rev. Steve.
