What is meant by the term "The Authority of Scripture"? George Bruce, Bishop of Ontario has set aside time for a day long gathering, in the Great Hall of St. George's Cathedral in Kingston on April 14 ^th, 2007 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, entitled "Everything you always wanted to know about the Windsor Report, the St. Michael Report and the Authority of Scripture but were afraid to ask". This will be an opportunity for anyone in the diocese who is interested in these matters to gather and discuss the implications of these documents for the decisions which General Synod will be called to make. :

February 24 ^th, 2007 from 10:00 am - 3:00 p.m. there was a workshop and study day with Patricia Bays at St. Thomas Anglican Church, Belleville on the Windsor Report and St. Michael Report. Further details on Diocesan website.

Prayer Quilt Ministry: Prayers & Squares is an interfaith outreach ministry that combines the gift of a hand-tied quilt with the gift of prayer for someone in need, no matter what the reason or age of the recipient.The essence of this ministry is in the prayers offered for the recipient. Remember our motto; "it's not about the quilt, it's all about the prayers".

Before tying a prayer quilt for an individual, that person must have agreed to accept the gift of prayer in the form of a quilt. You should also ask how you might best direct your prayers for that person. No payment can ever be accepted for a prayer quilt. It cannot be sold; it is a gift.
